Developed with top artists at the Yamaha Frankfurt AtelierThe FFM in the model number stands for Frankfurt am Main. The YTR-948FFMS was developed at the Yamaha Frankfurt Atelier with input from Markus Bebek, Associate Principal Trumpet of the Opera Frankfurt am Main.
LeadpipeThe taper of the leadpipe on the rotary valve trumpet has the optimum taper for superb intonation and dark powerful tone. Hand-hammered one-piece bellA one-piece bell has an axial (lengthwise) seam, making it a continuous extension of the insturment's material. This results in pure, uniform resonance and superior tone. A hammered, gold brass bell produces a slightly more broad and rich, yet perfectly-balanced tone with quick response and extra presence due to advanced manufacturing. Hand-lapped valves and slidesHand-lapping rotary valves and slides ensures an absolutely perfect fit and seal between the valve and casing or slide parts. Such a perfect fit helps to achieve smooth air flow and smooth action and improve the response and intonation of the instrument. Pressure-formed tubingPerfectly rounded tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance. ToneSofter and rounder than piston valve trumpets.

Applicants need to be available for work weekdays and weekends. Please email CV & expressions of interest to glennclark@intunemusic.com.au First Time I have seen the Alpha "Junior" Sax today. Or as I like to call it the 2/3rds Saxophone. I understand the principle of having a "lighter" instrument and less keys in positions that may be un-ergonomic to small hands, but it seems to me this is only useful for up to 2 years before you would need a Standard Fully keyed saxophone.
Keys Not included: High D#, F, E & F#. C Trill, F Till, Low B & Bb + Associated key work & Guards. I would recommend parents NOT to buy this instrument unless for specific reasons ie: Physical hand shape A new shipment of Mollard Batons just arrived.
If you are after a particular Baton please let us know. A few "natural wood" shafts are now in stock & they look amazing |
